We’re excited to share that Metro Code, LLC was recently featured by Redfin, powered by Rocket, in an article about home repairs homeowners should think carefully about before taking on themselves.
The article, “6 Home Repairs Most Homeowners Should Never DIY Before Selling,” was written by Kierra Todd of Redfin and features insight from professionals in the home inspection, construction, and real estate industries—including our CEO, Jennifer Killebrew.
One of the topics Jennifer discussed was something our team sees regularly during inspections: unpermitted work.

Why permits matter
One of the biggest takeaways is that homeowners shouldn't assume a project is too small to require a permit.
